GATHER4U – uma solução digital e colaborativa voltada à sensibilização para a prática da Coleta Seletiva na cidade Manaus

Abstract

Manaus, one of the largest cities in the Northern Region of Brazil, has a very low rate of selective waste collection and recycling. In this work, we show the "Gather4U", a platform to encourage collaboration and awareness of selective collection, aiming to improve the recovery rate of recyclable materials. On this platform, users will be able to access several information in order to encourage these users to perform selective waste collection. The expected result is: to increase the number of people reached by aspects of selective collection and recycling, as well as increase the social, economic and environmental interaction around such problems, among other benefits for the city.
