Resumo
The work entitled Social networking, an ecosystem perspective: food advertising on Facebook has the main objective to analyze food advertising broadcast on Facebook social network. The specific objectives, the study proposes: identifying the amount of food advertising aired on Facebook; check the nutritional value of food advertising aired on the social network, with reference to the Food Pyramid Adapted by Philippi (2013); analyze food advertising according to the classical advertising piece model proposed by Figueiredo (2014). This is an exploratory and descriptive research, quantitative and qualitative approach. After 1100 view (eleven hundred) advertising posts of food in 26 (twenty-six) Fan Pages tanned, 602 (six hundred two) national posts and 498 (four hundred ninety-eight) regional posts, it was observed that domestic enterprises have better planning their advertising campaigns that regional companies. It was also found that conveyed advertising discloses low nutritional value and high calorie percentage, contrary to the guidelines proposed by the Adapted Food Pyramid by Philippi (2013) for the Brazilian population. It was found also that less than 1% (ten posts) has the classic advertising piece model proposed by Figueiredo (2014), containing title, text, image and signature of the brand. Finally, the research showed that within the communicational ecosystem perspective, the social network Facebook, to spread the food advertising, is not able to create and establish strong ties that generate the existence of a material basis for its pervasive expansion in the social structure.
