Resumo
The present work is the result of the search for fundamentals for the elaboration of teaching strategies in Environmental Sciences, this search goes through the reflection on environmental problems and in the first surveys for the selection of the sample group, there was resistance on the part of the guests, awakening the interest in the environmental perception of teachers in their work environment. In this context, the following concerns arise: Considering that the environmental perception of teachers causes effects and impacts that are reflected in their action with students, how this study could contribute to the insertion of new tools contributing to the exercise of the teaching function as acting agent in human formation? The term "environmental perception" in the scope of this research is in line with the concept introduced by Marin, the resignification aims to know beyond the way in which human beings mix with the world, also understanding how they experience their concreteness, relate to problems, and collectively try to build a thought capable of expressing their ways of living. This study is based on the qualitative research strategy and was carried out through an action research, its general objective is to investigate the environmental perception of teachers in front of the interdisciplinary pedagogical praxis from a reflective stance based on the Inquiry Cycle as a methodological proposal for the Teaching of Environmental Sciences at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas, São Gabriel da Cachoeira Campus. Points were identified that hinder the pedagogical practices in the institution and the interest in teaching praxis in alternation to actions of a technicist nature, envisioning a more pedagogical look. Research participants contributed directly to the construction of the educational product that consists of a guide where proposals for pedagogical praxis are presented. This study provides subsidies for the development of new versions and improvement of the didactic-pedagogical tool presented.
