Resumo
The process of organizing, constituting and implementing Mura school education and its curriculum is recent, started around the end of the 90s of the last century, a moment marked by the peak of social movements and meetings among different ethnic groups in the regions of the country that claimed the implementation of the writings in official documents regarding the structuration of school education for Brazilian indigenous peoples. In order to know the occurrences of curricular pedagogical practices developed by Mura peoples, the research aimed to analyze the curriculum of the Dr. Jacobina Indigenous local School and its possible interrelationships with the culture of the Mura people who live in the village São Félix, Autazes-AM. The investigation was based on the hermeneutic-dialectic method, since we seek to interpret the true meanings of the phenomena revealed in the course of the research. Such practice allowed the interpretation of the data produced in order to comprehend the totality of the facts presented, which occurred through an analytical movement constituted dialectically. The methodological procedures adopted were operationalized through the literature review, reading and reflection of references that address the studied theme; interview with significant and important elements to acquire information about the culture and production of the Mura school curriculum; analysis of the “Large Plans” of 2018 and 2019 and the Mura Political-Pedagogical Project; organization and analysis of data produced. The results indicated that the curriculum that guides the pedagogical work of the Dr. Jacobina Indigenous local School ensures the official educational proposals aimed at Brazilian indigenous peoples and becomes a project that allows improvements to the educational process and also on the life of the Mura people who live in São Félix and residents of neighboring villages which have students enrolled in that school. Although recent, the curriculum produced at Mura school has reached a significant role, since it seeks to meet the real needs, desires and expectations of the Mura peoples, culminating in strengthening the identity and culture of these people.
