“Bem-Vindo à Igreja Do Avivamento”: um estudo do neopentecostalismo em Manaus a partir do Ministério Internacional da Restauração

Abstract

This work aims to study the concept of neo-Pentecostalism proposed by Mariano (2005) and widely used in a variety of churches that have surfaced over 1990. It can be applied to the churches, that the example of the International Restoration Ministry, adopt the Mobile Vision as strategy growth. The “churches Cell Vision” are constituted as one of the latest academic research problems since 1990. For the layman's insertion strategies as growth engine are more restricted to a particular type of religious denomination. The institutional expansion strategies as the Church Cell Vision or Family Groups are being adopted by both churches of historical Protestantism, Pentecostal and neo-Pentecostal like. Thus, the features that accentuated and then proposed researchers a classification to differentiate them, are disappearing as the “churches of Vision” as they are called by their leaders, broke the barrier that differentiated them, and imposed the logic of competition, the immediate result of pragmatism as proposed differentiation among the churches that worked and those that are decreasing the number of supporters.
