A eficiência energética em uma indústria de eletroeletrônicos do Polo Industrial de Manaus: desafios de implantação e novas possibilidades

Abstract

Establish energy efficiency indicators standards is challenging for Brazilian industries, especially to companies located in the Industrial Pole of Manaus, Amazonas, in all branches of industrial activities. In this work, programs and laws related to energy efficiency are reviewed, as well as the national and regional setting of the use of industrial energy, in which are defined axes that result in direct action research in a electronics factory through a energy diagnosis, exchange of shares of equipment and accessories to compose an acceptable assessment of energy performance, mainly seeking the reduction of the power consumption. With the results analyzed the energy efficiency gains opportunities were demonstrated for end uses, especially in lighting, indicating energy savings in the order of 40%. Technological measurement tools were used in specific areas and field research in energy-intensive equipment and in the production process, with the participation of the author of this work, as well as contains the details of installation and operation of a photovoltaic microplant inside this industry. The pioneering operation in this microplant, and other actions comprise new principles and possibilities of achieving sustainable business development and facilitating the deployment perspective of an energy management system, mainly based on the ABNT NBR ISO 50001.
