Gasoduto Coari-Manaus: uma reflexão sobre ambiente, Desenvolvimento Sustentável e Responsabilidade Socioambiental

Abstract

The present work aims to bring to discussion and demonstrate that given the imperative of development that is being considered the new "boom" in the state of Amazonas, in the case Coari-Mnauas resulting from exploration and production of oil and natural gas, the problem that is not possible compatibility of new development globalizing seeking appropriate respect for the environment, and whether it will be sustainable in the integration and interaction with the social and environmental. We are one of the last reserves of the planet's resources when it comes to fauna, flora and ore and for that reason is enough for a careful look. The work started development and prospects for the Amazon to oil and gas exploration in the Solimoes Basin. The main point of the study was to analyze from reading the technical community and the risks and benefits of Coari-Manaus, with emphasis on the environment, sustainable development and environmental responsibility. The methodology used was the literature research and interviews with some community for the cities of Coari, Iranduba and Manaus, on the matters under review and bringing always the factor of environmental education not only because the change of posture will irreparably by knowledge. Among the main results were obtained confirming that the royalties and special participation are important in the composition of municipal revenue providing the necessary resource for local investments, it is not possible to determine its exact use. Nor is there concrete actions to promote a project's sustainability and diversification of the productive base and place in other municipalities inclusive Manaus, there are only plans, whether the replacement power stations, high-speed Internet to the municipalities affected by the project and other .
