Gestão social na rede de atendimento e enfrentamento à violência contra a mulher em Manaus - Am

Abstract

This research brings the discussion about the management of the service network and coping with violence against women starting from the city of Manaus. This study also sought to discuss Public Policies aimed at women at the national level and how the process of decentralization of services to municipalities occurs. Thus, having as a central research problem: How has the social management of the network to combat violence against women in Manaus been carried out? Thus, the general objective of the research was to analyze the management in the service network and combat violence against women in Manaus. From this point on, specific objectives were outlined, which consisted of reflecting on the bottlenecks of social management in the capitalist mode of production; to identify the discussion on the articulation of the care network and the fight against violence against women; highlight aspects of social management in the care and coping network. In order to achieve these objectives, the type of study outlined was the dialectical approach, with qualitative-quantitative analysis of an explanatory nature with documentary sources. With regard to the phases of the research, this was divided into two, the first being called the exploratory phase, which consisted of building the theoretical and methodological framework, and the second being called the empirical phase with documentary research carried out in two locus of discussion: 1) The website of the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology - IBICT which coordinates the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations - BDTD and 2) The Database of the Extension CR 009/2022/PROEXT-UFAM. With regard to data analysis, this occurred through content analysis, not being necessary to register with the Research Ethics Committee as it is within Resolution No. 510, of April 7, 2016 of the National Health Council - CNS: V - research with databases whose information is aggregated, without the possibility of individual identification. Thus, the main results of the research were: the analysis that the network to combat violence against women is centralized in the capital Manaus, and there is no decentralization of services since the municipalities do not act directly in these actions, which is carried out by the federal government from government programs and projects; another issue raised is the dismantling of Public Policies aimed at women, which were negatively affected in the last governments: 2016 – 2022; it was also possible to raise discussions about ways of effective functioning of the network. Thus, it is concluded that there is a need for social control so that actions aimed at women are not weakened, in addition to being expanded to the interior of the Amazon.
