Resumo
This research, entitled Artistic Processes: The creation of drawings in art classes in the light of the Amazonian imaginary, sought to identify how drawing can contribute to the intellectual, artistic and cultural formation of students from two schools in the city's basic education network. from Parintins/AM. The role of the teacher/artist/researcher is also highlighted, leading to an understanding of their experiences and knowledge within the scope of art education. For this, the research used great authors such as Martins and Picosque (2012), Loureiro (2015), Edward (2000), Derdyk (2007), Dias and Irwin (2013), among others who, through their theories, develop to enrich the carrying out this study. The methodological proposal comprises Barbosa and Cunha (2021) triangular approach and follows processes of Art-Based Educational Research called A/R/Tography. As for methodological procedures, it is configured as basic, bibliographic, descriptive, qualitative and action research. The results are presented in order to demonstrate the importance of the Amazon, our culture and our regional identity, as well as proving how significantly the creation of drawings contributes to art classes.
