Resumo
The research aimed to analyse the contributions and potentialities of the
didactic approaches of virtual simulation and experimental practical for
questions in the chemistry as formative principle, on high school. The content
addressed was “The Physical States of Material”. It was employed how a
computer tool the virtual simulation states of material PhET (1.10) from
Colorado University, because it presents ludic, interactive, dynamic features and
it makes possible the visualization , on real time, of the motion and interation
particles. For the experiment it was held the naphtalene physical state change,
developed by the students, and oriented by the theacher, Who conducted the
students to develop the curiosity, investigation and Discovery. Each tool
presented a peculiar feature and different qualities, arousing the interest and
motivation of the students. It was used the methodological proposal adapted
based on the Paulo Freires’s approach whom consists to divide the educational
activities in three pedagogical moments (3MP), to know: Inicial
problematization, the arrangement of the knowledge and the knowledge
application. The development of the study hás ensued by workshop, in a space
of time in 3h/weekly class during 13 meetings, in a first year class on the state
public high school from Manaus. We tool on the research-action how guiding of
the activities that were fulfilled. We perceived the research was qualitative and
descriptive. The data were obtained by observation, questionaire appointments
and the data were processed according to content analysis. The results show that
the used approach is promising because it promoted significantly, the
reconstruction of knowledge developing the student’s cognitive skills.
