A prática discursiva dos controladores de voo do Centro Amazônico: reflexos e refrações das diretrizes de ensino-aprendizagem para sargentos da Aeronáutica

Abstract

The following master thesis is the result of a research conducted within Programa de Pós Graduação em Letras at UFAM. We carried out a theoretical return to the assumptions of the approach from the study group that we know as Bakhtin Circle, presenting concepts to which Discourse Analysis is very attached, along this theoretical line. In the scope of the investigation, the objective of the research is to establish correlations between the guidelines of the textual production practice course offered at the Escola de Especialistas de Aeronáutica and the concrete utterances made by military flight controllers serving in the city of Manaus and graduated from that institution; therefore, this is qualitative research. The philosophical character of the Bakhtin Circle approach, which takes into account not only the linguistic material, but also the socio-historical conditions of its production, as well as the methodological proposal of the Dialogical Discourse Analysis, by Brait (2010) are key points in the content of this paper. The results confirm the hypothesis that the guidelines of the Portuguese language disciplines focused on textual practice at EEAR give little consideration to the discursive genres with which sergeants will have to deal in the institutional activities for which they are being trained. Despite this, since 2009, there has been an observable trend of reformulation of these documents, in which there is a deeper elaboration on what the Air Force expects from the disciplines of written production in this context.
