Qualificação e desenvolvimento de fornecedores: um estudo de caso na indústria de linha branca no Polo Industrial de Manaus, Amazonas

Abstract

Due to constant changes in the global competitive environment, new forms of relationship and transaction between customers and suppliers have been practiced. In the face of such importance, organizations have adopted new methods and management procedures to perfect the selection and qualification of its suppliers, although there are not many references on this topic for other various industrial segments of the automotive industry. Thus, this work has the challenge of research examining the methodology used by one of the white goods manufacturing industry based in the Industrial Pole of Manaus - PIM, to perform the selection, evaluation and qualification of its suppliers. This study was conducted based on a reasoned scientific research methodology and characterized as descriptive, exploratory character type of applied nature, with the universe researched this study success story that the company has established, implemented and maintains systemically to qualify its suppliers . During the research it was found that the organization has developed the model featured in the creation of its own qualitative and quantitative criteria divided into categories called Quality and Negógios and end computing capability indices according to the score achieved in the audited questions that will characterize the suppliers within degrees of risk based on the results achieved thus enabling the classification as pass or fail in qualifying. After analyzing the case, it was possible to diagnose that the organization has set up an excellent Integrated Management System program Fornecedors - SGIF, which has over 80% of its suppliers already qualified according to this method, and also shows good results in control performance indicators suppliers, even when compared the company versus those of its competitors. Thus, this work also proposes to further improvements that can be added to the method studied and evaluated.
