Resumo
The organic fertilization is an alternative to the use of chemical inputs, being a strong ally to seek satisfactory growth rates and increased production of sweet potatoes, corroborating for the development of organic cultivation of the crop in the region. The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of the use of different organic and mineral sources on sweet potato yield. The experiment was conducted at the Experimental Farm - FAEXP of the Federal University of Amazonas. The assay was composed of six treatments that consisted of the following: T1 - Control treatment; T2 - Liming; T3 - Liming + Chemical fertilization T4 - Liming + Goat manure (29.0 t ha-1); T5 - Calagem + Chicken manure (8.8 t ha-1); T6 - Calagem + bovine manure (7.8 t ha-1). The experiment was arranged in a randomized block design, with four replications, nine plants per plot. After 120 days of planting, the variables evaluated were tuber root yield, mean tuber root weight, commercial yield, average commercial root weight, shoot biomass, tuber root length, tuber root diameter and root dry matter. The results showed that there was a significant difference (p <0.05) between treatments. Control and liming + bovine manure treatments were the ones that stood out in total productivity (134.41 kg / ha-1 and 130.58 kg / ha-1). The commercial productivity with liming treatment + cattle manure presented higher production (125.58 kg / ha). It is believed that for significant responses to organic and / or mineral fertilization of sweet potatoes on land, there is a need to take into account: the acquisition of vegetative material from terra firme or already adapted, historical of the area of cultivation and greater time in the field of culture in the experiment.
