A gestão da destinação final de resíduos plásticos sob as diretrizes da norma ISO 15270: um estudo de caso em uma empresa do PIM.

Abstract

It presents a proposal of environmental management to companies in the segment of plastic injection to deal with the questions of the final destination of solid residues. With this, it adopted the lines of direction of the international rule ISO 15270:2008 which deals with the plastic waste, directed to the environmental principles and the concern about the sustainable development. The environmental management is, with the pass of the time, more in evidence in all the aspects of the society in general, where it fits into organizations to search alternatives that deal with the question to propose ways to minimize the caused impacts. It analyzed the diverse processes of an industry of transformation of the plastic, since the preparation of the primary substance with polymer base during the process of plastification and the generated residues until its recycling. It has as case study a company hosted in the Industrial Polo region of Manaus that supplies plastic parts to industries of diverse branches of activities, where had been carried out through technique visits with the aim to take effect the current situations and the interview with the high direction in adopting the cited international rule and its dissemination to all the collaborators of the organization. By means of the results, it was possible to observe the benefits reached in relation to the standardization and treatment of the solid residues, once a time that brings the benefits in relation to the environmental aspects and impacts. The approach of the related international rule established in the organization brought the awareness in the decisions in relation to the discovery of new technologies, but with the responsibility of anticipating itself to the generated adverse effects, getting through studies and specific analyses a responsible attitude. The study still showed the importance of the integration of the management rules in the organization and the simplification on the carried out of the diverse activities.
