Processos de proteção e vulnerabilidade segundo jovens das cidades Além-Rio

Abstract

This study aimed to know the processes of protection from involvement with the Act according to young people who have been in conflict with the law, living in two municipalities of the metropolitan region of Manaus. The theoretical framework adopted aligns the so-called postmodern epistemologies, understanding the concepts of protection, vulnerability and resilience from the socio-historical approach of psychology and the paradigm of complexity. The Statute of the child and adolescent and its paradigm of Integral Protection stipulate the legal framework of this work. The increase in demand for young people of these localities in intervention programmes and the need to broaden and deepen the discussions focusing on subjects of other locations in the State of Amazonas that experience processes linked to situations of violence, violations and socio-educational measures, justified the search. The same guideline as a qualitative approach, by favouring an approach with the phenomenon in line with theoretical and epistemological perspective. The municipalities surveyed are located to the West of the State capital, having as main connection the bridge under the Rio Negro. The young participants are of both sexes between the ages of 15 and 22 have years, reside with their families in the cities and have experienced conflict situations with granddaughters locales. Data collection was done through semi-structured interviews and documentary analysis. The strategies was Grounded Theory or theory Based from the method of content Analysis to and interpretation of data, enabling the categorization and organization of content and generation of hypotheses as final product from the data collected from the speeches of the young. The results point to eight categories of vulnerability: promoting friendships erratic; use of alcohol and drugs; school difficulties; conflicting relations; migration; precariousness of law guarantees system and infrastructure; unemployment and underemployment and psychic disposition and five facilitators: affective relationships based in counseling and care; autonomy and independence; improving the system of Guarantee of rights; employment and school that link to a project of life and the practice of the sport. It was concluded that the understanding of protective processes implies understanding the vulnerability as inseparable, and that face the senses of protection assigned by young people reflect the reality of their environment massively and concreteness of relations that are formed.
