A realidade fragmentada: a relação entre cinema e literatura nas obras de Márcio Souza e Milton Hatoum

Resumo

The dissertation seeks to analyze some of the literary works of Márcio Souza and Milton Hatoum from an articulation between cinema and literature. This paper also aims to point to the different ways of how the invoices of each literary authors can contribute to the understanding their position and trajectory on the literary field. Márcio Souza had being engagement with cinematographic production before launching as a writer, which explains certain experimentalism of his works in the early stages of his career. Milton Hatoum has not direct approach to the practice film, but it is possible to observe the presence of aspects of cinema language in his works, as the use of free indirect discourse allows changing the narrative focus of the work, the fragmenting and reassembling in the context. Therefore, It is observed in a different approaches by each of the authors and can be delineated using a single element for the comparison, the cinema.
