Redes Comunitárias na internet: o desafio da democracia

Abstract

This paper aims to understand the phenomenon of community network on the Internet, especially when they are agents of mobilization, articulating their causes, feelings, interests in other networks. As a source of information and communication, social networks influence increasingly more on political participation, as far as transforming the Internet space into a legitimate arena for battles and a privileged instrument for acting, informing, recruiting, organizing, commanding and countermanding. The Internet is the extent of society and these situations only reflect the real daily life
