Educação superior indígena no Amazonas: a tecnologia mediada no ensino

Resumo

This doctoral thesis focuses on mediation of technology in indigenous higher education in Amazonas, present in the pedagogical practices of the Indigenous Teachers Training Program (PROIND) of the University of the State of Amazonas (UEA), specifically in Manaus. It has the following specific objectives: to contextualize the institutionalization of indigenous school education in Brazil; To describe how the mediation of technology in higher education courses in the country has been used, and its benefits for the indigenous academic community, with emphasis on higher courses for indigenous people in the State of Amazonas; In addition to interpreting the data obtained from the semi-structured interviews with 50% of the former graduates of the first group, which was formed in 2014 in the Amazonian capital and two professors from PROIND / UEA, among them the institution's rector and the coordinator of the course , Linking the significant forms of learning with the use of technology, as well as the contribution of ICTs and EaD, to the indigenous community in higher education in the Amazon. Therefore, the scientific research present in the Research Line 1 - Symbolic Systems and Cultural Manifestations, of the Postgraduate Program in Society and Culture in the Amazon (PGSCA / UFAM), has as a thesis to prove that the modality of presential education mediated by TV, As well as other technological resources can benefit in the superior formation of the indigenous teacher in the Amazon, valuing and respecting the cultural and social aspects, besides the plurality of the Amazon social thought.
