The dissertation corresponds to the result of the research entitled Education, Black Movements and Affirmative Actions in Amazonas, whose empirical field was the Sacred Heart Quilombola Community of Lake Serpa in the municipality of Itacoatiara. To do so, it was guided by the following general objective: To analyze the materialization of the quilombola school policy that incorporates elements of the regional culture, and the coexistent relation with the black movements in the implementation of affirmative actions for the education of the ethno-racial relations. It was guided by three specific objectives: 1) To identify elements of the African worldview to understand the particularities involved in educational, political and cultural processes that incorporate elements of African and Afro-Brazilian culture in our region; 2) Research on the historical process of the anti-racist struggle and its interlocution with the education of the ethno-racial relations in our State; 3) To understand how the struggle of the Black Movements occurs and their action in the spaces of participation and decision making. Based on the methodological procedures of bibliographical and documentary research, participant observation was adopted, and as method, Historical and Dialectical Materialism, guided by the three laws: Unity and Struggle of Contraries, Transformation of Quantity and Quality, and Denial of Denial. Adopted as structural categories a) African and Afro-Brazilian history and culture, b) Racial discrimination and c) Right to diversity. The research allowed to conclude that the guidelines that permeate the antiracist struggle are mostly convergent; the individual trajectories present themselves above the collective struggle; black movements struggle for the preservation of African and Afro-Brazilian values but there is resistance from managers, teachers, educators and community people to accept the methodologies developed by the movement; the actions in the schools still happen punctually in the month of November; the Quilombola Community of Lake Serpa has a school unit in the EJA modality, but they do not have PPP to guide their educational actions.
