Aplicação do Design For Manufaturing and Assembly (DFMA) no projeto de robô de telepresença

Resumo

This work aims to present a prototype for a telepresence robot designed for application in the Amazon region, where remote access areas are concentrated. To achieve this goal, an approach is employed that integrates the steps of DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) and also 3D modeling combined with Additive Manufacturing. Considering the key characteristics of the region, the objective is to offer a regional solution focused on mobility and interaction to facilitate use. In the study, the main difficulties faced by the population in the region in their daily lives regarding access to healthcare were highlighted. As a result, evidence was obtained of the use of outside methodologies combined with a reduction of about 78% in the quantity of project components and parts. Therefore, the importance of developing technologies aimed at addressing this need or driving studies for connectivity in the state of Amazonas is emphasized.
