Resumo
Investigative experiments are activities that require the student to participate more actively, and with this, help in the development of important skills in the learning process. Colligative Properties, is presented in the literature as one of the most difficult to understand chemical contents, besides, there is a certain absence of works that approach experiments oriented to it. Therefore, the present study had the objective of analyze the contributions of experimental investigative activities in the development of investigative capacities, through the construction of concepts related to the content Colligative Properties, of the second year of High School. This research was based on the learning theory of David Ausubel, the Theory of Meaningful Learning. Thus, it was initially sought to identify the students' previous knowledge through a questionnaire, and after that, a didactic sequence was elaborated with the investigative activities that would be carried out. In addition to the questionnaire, other instruments of data collection were used, such as activity sheets, concept maps and observation, which were carried out through audiovisual and field diaries. Data was collected at a Public School in the city of Manaus-AM, with twenty students, in a forty-hour course. In general, the students presented some difficulties in relation to previous knowledge about the subject. During the execution of the activities, the students showed enthusiasm in participating and an evolution in autonomy according to the increase of the levels of investigation that each activity required. Conceptual maps indicated that students were able to establish relationships between concepts, but most of them could not use linkage words, which made it difficult to analyze these relationships. Among the investigative skills developed by the students, we can highlight material manipulation, observation, hypothesis formulation, organization and data analysis, conclusion.
