A crítica literária na pena de Benedito Nunes: uma poética do seu pensamento

Abstract

This study intends to verify in which sense the aspects of subjectivity accompany the look of Benedito Nunes in his literary criticism, seeking to highlight the hybridization and originality of his thought in the field of Philosophy and Art. The object under examination is centered on the literary criticism of Benedito Nunes, which uses ethical and aesthetic aspects in the scope of his subjectivity to elaborate the criticism concerning the works of authors of the thought of other authors like Clarice Lispector and Dalcídio Jurandir. The study is conducted under the theoretical and methodological support of the disciplines Philosophy, Anthropology and Literature, based on the collating of data of some works of Clarice Lispector such as, The Clarice Lispector’s world (1966) and Thelanguage of drama: a reading of Clarice Lispector (1989) and of Dalcídio Jurandir with the book Marajó (1947). Among the manifold aspects it was clear that Benedito Nunes does not fit as a self-taught and not an eclectic intellectual, he is also an exile intellectual with his own free thought. His hybridized thinking gains shape in universal literary criticism, widely recognized in the Western world. It can be concluded, therefore, that Benedito Nunes has an immeasurable legacy still to be discovered whose importance can reach great figures in the Amazon and in the Western world and culture.
