Resumo

This dissertation presents the results of the Master´s research, inserted in the Educator Training and Praxis Research Line, facing the Amazonian challenges of the Post graduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Amazonas, which aims to understand how continuing education, offered to teachers by the Municipal Education Department of Manaus, has focused on the issue of curriculum organization by fields of experience. This study is justified by the fact that the fields of experience are the form of curriculum organization advocated by the guiding documents of Childhood Education in Brazil nowadays (BRASIL, 2009; 2017). This is a qualitative research in which we adopted documentar and bibliographic research as methodological procedures. These procedures aim to understand, based on the analysis of official Brazilian documents on Childhood Education, the meaning of curriculum organization by fields of experience; in addition to discussing the pedagogical implications of such proposed curriculum organization; in addition to analyzing the menus of continuing education proposals offered by the Division of Professional Development of Teaching (DDPM) for Childhood Education teachers, in order to understand how the concept of fields of experience is focused.
