Resumo

The present study has an objective to develop and apply change management model for promoting a working environment transformation, the participation of the employees in improvements teams and the performance indicators. As a way of reaching the objective, the study makes use of the integrated application of two change tools combined with the kaizen events, which promote the improvement of the productive process and maintenance, they are: the 5S-housekeeping and TPM - Total Productive Maintenance. The research is developed in the maintenance and production sections of a company of the Industrial Park of Manaus, counting with the partner and active participation of the researcher and active the employees of the studied areas, therefore, as for the methodology of the research, is characterized by the type of research-action and case study. It is also done the qualitative and quantitative registration of the evolution process of the change, showing the before and after situation of the application model that was followed by the 8 developed stages. The model makes the process management of the change transition in a soft and continuous way from the current state to the wanted state. During those stages, it is promoted the exceeded of the paradigms that lock the change process, promoting the necessary adjustment for a new organizational culture of high performance, the formation of the team spirit, the results improvement of the operations and the organizational competitiveness. The results of the study prove an effective change management in the working environment and in the mentality of the people, as well as the continuous stimulation to the learning organization, for which company and employees establish a competitive and maintainable performance.
