Resumo
The urban environment has been modified by anthropic actions that cause deterioration of the environment, resulting in a reduction in green areas, generating urban heat islands, resulting in thermal discomfort. Taking into account the need for a more sustainable look at the south of Amazonas, the objective of this dissertation was to analyze the estimate of thermal comfort through the mobile transect, based on the thermo-hygrometric variables existing between different points and different times in the county of Humaitá. The monitoring period took place from August 2022 to January 2023, for three to four days per month, at 6:00 am, 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm local time and at 16 points with different urban configurations. To calculate the Thermal Discomfort Index (TDI), the equation proposed by Thom in 1959 was used and the results were analyzed based on a chart used for tropical regions. Air temperature (Tar) and relative humidity (RH%) were recorded by a thermo-hygrometer sensor, fitted to the vehicle window, 1.5 m above the ground. Given the results observed, Humaitá presented the highest average TDI in September 27°C, with average Tar and RH% of 31°C and 67.4% respectively. The month of September also stood out in the afternoon with average TDI of 30°C, Tar 36.9°C and RH% of 45%. It is hoped that with the results found, work on urban planning can be supported, contributing to the health of the population of this county and promoting socialization among people in society.
