Resumo

This paper work presents the energy final use scenario of electrial energy in the industrial sector of micro and small companies in the city of Manaus, making it possible to allowing the indentification of the main wasting factors, the energy efficiency potential per final use of electric energy. The methodology of this work was based upon expositive analyses, from an exploratory research, which was made in loco in the Micro and Small Companies, by using application forms made as spreadsheets in order to collect the data. The data was analyzed in terms of quality and quantity, through statistic methods, whose results represent all the population of the researched companies. The results show the efficiency potential for the final use of electrical energy (air conditioning, lightening, refrigeration, electrical engines and other equipments) as well as the correction factor for the MEs and PEs and the total sector researched. The atrargge global efficiency potential of researched sector presented average waste of 17,9% for PEs and 57,8% for MEs. Through the comparisons of the PEs and MEs data, it was found that the studied segments of PEs and MEs present very similar characteristics related to operationality, however, due to the difference of size between the segments, it was possible to find that the biggest segment, which is the bakery segment, the PEs use a great amount of electrical energy in the final use, with air conditioning, when compared to the MEs. This data presents the magnitude of electrical energy waste, as well as the great contribution that they can offer for a more efficient and intelligent use of electrical energy.
