Resumo

Several transnational environmental entities, such as Greenpeace and WWF, are working in the Amazonian biome and have used communication resources to legitimize action in the region, disseminate environmental strategies and actions, disseminate opinions, interact with other social organisms and, finally, More supportive of the causes they defend. It is noteworthy that the environmental discourse of Transnational NGOs is marked by complex ways of sensitizing their stakeholders and diversified image constructions around Amazon Sustainability. This study proposes a reflection on the processes of meaning and the discursive practices of Transnational NGOs linked to the environmental movement, establishing relations between the discourse of the Amazon Sustainability, the construction of imaginaries and the "spectacularization of the green" in the globalized world. The discursive meanings of media resources (content of institutional sites, publications, newspaper and magazine ads, institutional reports, videos and social media posts) used by Transnational NGOs to disseminate information on the Amazon and its Development Sustainable in the period between 2010 and 2016. For this, the Discourse Analysis of the French line was used as the theoretical-methodological axis, being used to examine the internal movement of the texts, their suppressions, inclusions, not said, ideological questions, projections Or deletions, revealing the positions of the enunciating subjects. During the process of analysis of the discourse of the Transnational NGOs Greenpeace and WWF, it was observed that the meanings of Amazonian sustainability are realized through the following categories: "economic globalization", "symbolic power", "imaginary nature", "scientific authority "," Artificial sociodiversity "and" commodification / fashion ". We maintain that NGOs, basically, have three ways of representing the Amazon: resource box, spectacular nature and merchandise. The discourse of Transnational NGOs, as can be seen from the analysis of the texts, is eccentric, contradictory and mistaken. These discursive formations were constructed from preconceptions elicited by historically dated concepts. It is emphasized that the speaking place of Transnational NGOs is built through scientific support and the nuances of power, characterized by political and economic articulations. The Transnational Environmental NGOs Greenpeace and WWF, using various discursive resources, seek to produce images of the Amazon according to their world perspectives and impose the globalized acceptance of this image as a reality. However, there is still a forgetfulness of the rich cultural patrimony of the Amazonians
