Sistema clima urbano de Manaus: uma proposta de análise de unidades climáticas de escala de topoclima de Manaus

Abstract

The paper in question seeks to analyze the scalable urban context in the city of Manaus is inserted, or is inserted in it. This is one of the largest cities in the Northern Region (IBGE, 2010), besides being one of the fastest growing; This type of growth has characteristics typical of cities not planned by the state - or improperly planned - and is another factor that makes the analysis of the urban climate of Manaus important; Thus, to make it more feasible to understand a climate that is more true to reality, the urban climate of Manaus was analyzed on a relevant scale of the Climate Units, which is a Topoclimate. Understanding all this scalable context can be a great contribution to the point of view of the organization of urban space; and to obtain more information that can be collected for a climate analysis, maps such as temperature, vegetation, soil occupation, etc. were used to spatialize and understand the different topoclimates of the urban area of Manaus. A research was used in the climate units made by Monteiro (1976), as well as in more recent works that contributed to an evolution of the previous units.
