Resumo

Popular consumption spaces such as fairs, galleries, street stores, street vendors, resellers and ambulances in the central and outlying regions of the major cities demonstrate their own economic importance. They are the places loaded with meanings, representations and fundamental relations for the construction of affective sociabilities, identities and bonds. So also the fashion and purpose that carry the social identity of the subject and are inseparable from consumption in the 21st century. This is a social issue of the everyday life of Marechal Deodoro Street, one of the main centers and centers of popular consumption in Manaus. The street is vibrant and intense and has transformed over the years, as well as the studies that go through it and ways such as these relate to fashion and clothing. With the remarkable presence of Arab, Northeastern and Chinese merchants, the formal and informal opening space of adult, young and child fashion apparel. The noise is a hallmark of the place and echoes throughout the length of the street. Just as the street Marechal Deodoro turned into a folk street "Bate-palma" or "Shopping Bate-palmas". For the process of consumption of fashion and clothing, the heterogeneous and complex universe, a cartography shows us a panoramic view of space, its social relations and meanings of consumption between the groups and the subjects that make up the fashion and fashion of Bate Palmas.
