Análise da viabilidade econômica para a terceirização de frotas: estudo de caso na Universidade Federal do Amazonas (UFAM)

Abstract

Currently, efficiency in fleet management in the public sector is of paramount importance for optimizing the control of public spending, since it is an area responsible for high investments and expenses, so if the fleet is managed inefficiently, it will compromise much of the body's resources. In the present study, an exploratory research was applied with a quantitative and qualitative approach, applied through a bibliographical and field research, concomitant, a documentary research was done through access to the institutional documents of the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) - the research object of this study. The objective was to carry out an analysis of the economic and financial viability for the outsourcing of the UFAM fleet through a comparative analysis with an Organ B and thus indicate a more feasible fleet operation model for the institution, contemplating the improvement of its qualitative aspects, having as criterion the search for efficiency in the management of fleets and the quality in the service rendering. The result of the research indicated the best model of fleet operation to be used in UFAM, in view of the criteria of efficiency and effectiveness.
