O uso de logaritmos no campo dos números complexos

Abstract

In this work we make a simple approach to the implementation of logarithms in the field of complex numbers and make them more known, because although they have a big role in solving many problems, are somehow forgotten both in basic education and in undergraduate education. The study was carried out in order to investigate one of the many contributions that the remarkable Leonard Euler left to mathematics. In order to redeem such applications, thus developing skills of Complex Numbers field, we will travel showing the construction of Complex Numbers (Chapter 2), through the traditional definition of logarithms dollars Positive Numbers (Chapter 3) and mainly focusing on (Chapter 4) which deals with logarithms of Real Numbers negatives. Finally we will present a special chapter showing the Problem of History (chapter 5) and some approaches in high school (Chapter 6). We believe that both the approach of carrying out the work, with the use of logarithms, for example, the operations and applications we use, can serve to improve the teaching and learning of the use of logarithms and possibly serve as a motivator for students and teachers that seek to enhance their knowledge of logarithms of Real Numbers negatives in its various developments.
