Resumo
Continuing education has gone through several processes throughout history: initially with a technical approach focused on the labor market, under goes through criticism and is the object of study by several researchers such as Tardif (2012), Candau (2003), Libâneo (2013), Chalita (2001) and others that will serve as the theoretical basis of this research. Currently, having this theme based on the reflection and preparation of the teacher to face adversities in the face of new social contexts, this research has as problematic the continued training of Portuguese teachers for the use of technologies in high school classes such as leptop hardware, desktop, mobile phones, datashows and software such as social networks, educational digital games and others found in field research. We hypothesize that Portuguese language teachers working in high school, or most of these teachers, did not have sufficient training to use the technologies, so issues such as learning to deal with technologies in the educational context, whether they had continued training for the use of these technologies, as technological tools help in the process of teaching the mother tongue were guide to the present research. Therefore, we made an open questionnaire that was answered by teachers Portuguese who work in high school. The data obtained through this questionnaire were analyzed based on a qualitative approach in order to identify the improvement of the teaching and learning process with the use of ICT's by Portuguese language teachers in high schools in Humaitá-AM. After data analysis, the hypothesis was confirmed and it was found that teachers did not have continuous training for ICT use, having to resort to friends, family or private courses to learn handling. In addition, it was noted that teachers defend the use of technologies in Portuguese language classes, stating that ICT helps in more creative, playful and productive classes avoiding even school dropout.
