Proposta de um modelo de incubadora para o Centro de Biotecnologia da Amazônia - CBA

Abstract

The present work seeks to present a proposal for implementing an incubator within the Amazon Biotechnology Center (CBA), providing conditions for it to promote its role in the management and support of incubated bio businesses, contributing to the strengthening of these businesses and the development of regional. For this, a case study was carried out with fourteen other active incubators, preferably from the north region, to obtain information that would support the proposition of an incubator model, promoting quantitative research through the application of a questionnaire. After data collection, a balance was made about the results and a discussion about the feasibility of the project to implement the incubator at the Amazon Biotechnology Center. With the accomplishment of this work, it was possible to conclude that this project that the implantation of an incubator in the Center of Biotechnology of the Amazon will benefit the technological development of the state´s north region by offering adequate qualification and technical consultancy to the incubated companies, being the incubator essential for its success a performance strong strategic partnership, good interaction with local universities and policies to support innovation.
