Abstract

By means of history of the feelings or sensitivities we seek to step into the daily life of eighteenth century colonial population from Grão Pará. In this incursion the traces of feeling of fear will be our guides to understanding a reality that is temporarily so far from us. The Holy Office Visit will be the guiding thread along to denunciations and inquisitorial processes produced with which we have the tools to glimpse the forms of fear representation of that locality. Thus the feeling of fear historicized even as case studies opened the way for the discovery of new stories that allow us to know more in the context of Inquisitions Visit and become space for reflection about Colonial Amazon
