O discurso homofóbico nas redes sociais e o confronto ideológico acerca da diversidade sexual no Brasil

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the phenomenon of homophobia in Internet social networks, from the perspective of French Discourse Analysis and Foucault's theories about power relations and sexuality, within the sociopolitical reality of Brazil. Through these theories of discourse, it was first possible to find a concept and definition of homophobia, how it manifests in our society and what ideologies behind homophobic discourse, and then analyze this phenomenon within the social networks of the Internet, through comments and images of users found.
