Resumo
The discussion about the teachers‟ formation has the relation between theory and practice as one of the central axes, mainly in a context in which is in line the committed professionals‟ formation to the construction of a social quality school. In this discussion was taken the apprenticeship problematical as curricular component which historically has contributed to the initial educator formation. In this perspective, the general objective of this research was to analyze the contributions of the Supervised Curricular Apprenticeship in the construction of necessary knowledge to the educator practice in the course of Pedagogy. The methodology used was based in the qualitative research, for the possibility of comprehension of a given reality, from the direct and systematic contact between the researcher teacher and the situation to be investigated. The procedures of data collection used were: the documental analysis, the application of questionnaire with opened and closed questions and the interview with academicals of the Pedagogy course and with the teachers of elementary education. The data analysis was organized from the theoretical categories: teaching conception, apprenticeship conception and apprenticeship contributions to the teaching practice. From them was verified that the teaching conception of assumed teaching suffers strong influence from the discussions about the teachers‟ formation, what has been taking to the formative process the ambiguities present in themselves and sometimes make the academicals confused about what is the teaching. The contributions analyzed in this research referred especially to the educator practice as activity which has like central element the teaching, even knowing about the articulation between teaching, management and research. Thus was verified that the apprenticeship in the researched reality contributed to important knowledge necessary to the teaching practice. It made possible the learning related to the organization of the teaching work in class in referring to the process of class planning, what implicates in a process of discussion about the reality, selection, organization and definition of contents, objectives, methodologies and evaluative processes. It also contributed to learning about the relation teacher-student in the teaching-learning process and as to necessity of reflection about the own pedagogical practice. It propitiated, yet, the challenges that made possible the curricular interaction and the search of new knowledge of the identification with the teaching. The apprenticeship also propitiated learning about the teaching to the teachers of elementary education schools which received the academicals in their classes
