Resumo
In this work, Negro River’s samples of aquatic humic substances collected in March, June, September and December of 2012, were characterized. The characterization of chemical components has been made through elementary analysis techniques, C13 and 1H NMR, FT-IR, UV-VIS and GFAAS. Studies of availability of metals Cu, Fe, Al and Zn of the different samples using the competion technique AHS-M/EDTA and metal exchange studies originally complexed by Cu2+, both using tangential ultrafiltration system, were performed. The seasonal period under study has presented drought periods and full of the river more accented than the average of 10 years prior. The AHS structural analysis by the different methods do not suggest a significant structural variation throughout the study period. Significant variation in the metals availability and exchange by Cu2+ was also not noted. The results obtained were different from the AHS literature, which indicate there is a difference in the structure at different periods.
