O uso de elementos da controladoria como instrumento de apoio à gestão de organizações de pequeno e médio porte

Abstract

This paper intends to present the hypothesis, developed by other authors in a greater or lesser degree, that the controlling and management control systems are extremely important for business management. In this case stand out three aspects that justify the preparation of this paper: the controlling as an information system, systems of management control like mechanisms for linking and driving the organization's activities and economic profitability as a measure of organizational performance. The objective of this paper is to know what is the relationship exists between the process of changing a system of Controller (Accounting Management Systems) in the small and medium size businesses organizations and the success of this change. To this end, we conducted a research with small and medium enterprises in the trade and services department, which responded to the questionnaire attached to this papper. As a result, it was observed that often the small and medium enterprises don´t give importance to the controlling which if utilized positively impacts the results of the organization, don´t matter their size.
