The present study deals with the continuing education of teachers for inclusive education. Faced with the configuration of education that presents the principle of ensuring access, permanence and participation of all students, and considering the challenges faced by teachers in the common rooms, we come to our research problem: how are structured and organized training proposals of teachers for inclusive education, developed by the Municipal Office of Education of Oriximiná, focusing on teachers as protagonists in the process and in the actions of these formations? The objective of this study is to analyze the proposals for continuing education for inclusive education developed by the Municipal Department of Education in the city of Oriximiná, State of Pará, and the conception of teachers as protagonists in the process and in continuing education actions. In the theoretical basis, we sought the dialogue between authors who approach the school inclusion of students with disabilities as Beyer (2013, 2015); Bueno (2011), Carvalho (2010, 2016) Glat and Pletsch (2012) and authors who discuss continuing education as Nóvoa (1992; 2002), Imbernón (2010; 2011), André (2016); and has documentary support to LDB 9,394 / 96, the National and Municipal Education Plan, LBI 13,146 / 15, Resolutions nº 1/2002, nº 2/2001, nº 2/2015, the Sector Action Plan of Inclusion and Specialized Attendance of Semed of Oriximiná, in addition to others that converge towards the proposal of inclusive education and continuous formation of teachers. The research is qualitative in nature, in which the research method is the Case Study. Data collection was divided into two stages: the first consisted of documentary analysis and the second was the semi-structured interviews. Five of the teachers from the initial years of elementary school, who had students with disabilities in their classes and already participated in the ongoing training developed by Semed, were part of the research. For the interpretative analysis of the data, we constructed two axes of analysis: the constitution of being a teacher in the inclusive context; and teacher and continuing education for inclusive education. The data obtained with the documents revealed that the formative actions have been structured in sporadic meetings and in spaces unrelated to the teachers, as well as the narratives of the teachers pointed out that these formations do not count on their effective participation in the elaboration, execution or evaluation, occurring often in a decontextualized way. Expected that the results of the research contribute to the revision of the proposals for continuing education, with the elaboration of strategies that contemplate the training needs of the teachers with a view to a more inclusive education.
