Resumo
The research analyzes the insertion of entrepreneurship in the schools of Proeti/Manaus from educational public policy and in the context of work and education relationship in the 21st century. It questions how entrepreneurship has been established in educational public policy and, especially, within high schools in Manaus. The study addresses the relationship between entrepreneurship, work and education as part of the changes occurred in the capitalist model of production, investigates the theoretical path of entrepreneurship in education, places the insertion of entrepreneurship in the schools of Proeti/Manaus within the scope of public policy and discusses the concept of youth education based on entrepreneurship in schools of Proeti/Manaus. The Full-Time High School Promotion Program (Proeti) is established by Law 13.415/2017, which reformulates high school in Brazil. In Amazonas, the schools that joined the program present a curriculum, with a flexible part, in which entrepreneurship stands out. The teaching of entrepreneurship was initially focused on Higher Education, but currently it focuses on basic education, with special emphasis to secondary education (SILVA; CÁRIA, 2015; SILVA, 2016). The research has theoretical support in critical and analytical reflection on the linkage of entrepreneurship to educational field (SOUZA, 2006; COAN, 2011; PANDOLFI, 2015). There was emphasis on bibliographic and documentary research in the methodological procedures, in which techniques of content analysis were used, focusing on a qualitative approach in dialogue with categories emanating from the historical materialistic approach. The results of the research show that entrepreneurship is the newest concept that expresses the relationship between work and education nowadays. One of the goals for education in the coming years is the development of entrepreneurial skills and abilities, especially among young people. The shift from entrepreneurship to the educational sphere occurs mainly through the creation of methodologies that aim to bring the entrepreneurial culture to the educational environment. In the case of the schools of Proeti in Manaus, the insertion of entrepreneurship takes place through a discipline called Life Project and Entrepreneurship, which contents are mainly focused on developing entrepreneurial attitudes and behaviors. It is intended that, based on these behaviors, the young people become the protagonist of their life projects. In this way, it is intended that the young people perceive themselves as protagonists, a kind of heroes of themselves in the face of the uncertainties and adversities that surround them, especially those related to the job market. The purpose would be to train the young entrepreneurs, responsible for their own success or failure in the face of world challenges, minimizing the State's responsibility as part of a scenario of profound changes in labor relations in the 21st century.
