Aporte, decomposição e nutrientes de serapilheira em agroecossistemas e floresta no assentamento São Francisco Canutama-Am

Resumo

Litter is the deposition of leaves, branches and reproductive material from the tree canopy deposited on the ground. This deposition is representative and significant in primary productivity in an important way that impacts microbial communities and carbon storage in the soil. The objective of this work was to evaluate the contribution, fractions and decomposition of litter in forest, cupuaçu, guaraná and annatto environments. The research for this work will be carried out in the settlement. To research the litter input, 10 conical collectors with an area of 0.21 m² (perimeter equal to 1.62 m) were installed in each study area, constructed with ¾” tube, made of PVC plastic material. Collections were carried out monthly from March 2020 to February 2021. The estimation of the litter decomposition rate was carried out by quantifying the loss of mass, using litter bags, which allow direct analysis of the decay rate over time. As for monthly deposition, it appears that in the forest the input varied from 0.33 Mg ha-¹ in January to 1.21 Mg ha-¹ in October. For annatto, the values found were 0.09 and 0.63 Mg ha-¹ in the months of October and August. The leaf fraction had the largest share in the total litter production for the forest, guaraná, cupuaçu and urucum environments, followed by the branch fractions, in the forest and urucum environments, the reproductive material fraction predominated in the guaraná and cupuaçu areas followed by the shells
