O Planejamento Estratégico voltado a uma unidade de instituição federal de ensino superior: um estudo voltado à efetividade das ações planejadas

Abstract

Strategic Planning is one of the most used management tools for organizations, to translate strategy, define their objectives, identify existing bottlenecks and project to the necessary changes, for the growth of the organization and its permanence in the market. Indicators are allied to planning and essential to process control, because they make it possible to establish and monitor the achievement of goals, to correct problems and to suggest propositions. In this way, one can see the importance of measuring the results, either to refer to values or to serve as an element of control. The objective of this study is to demonstrate the effectiveness of the actions outlined in the strategic planning of the Nursing School of Manaus, through the performance management tool 6Es. The research about the nature was characterized as of the applied type that has practical purpose, as far as the means, bibliographical and documentary. Regarding the purpose, the research was descriptive, and in the form of approach was qualitative and quantitative. The research results showed that the applied methodology allowed to quantify the actions and to visualize the achievement or not of the goals. In the case of the unit studied, the results showed a high degree of effectiveness in the years surveyed, however, some isolated projects were no longer carried out, as well as the environmental guideline that obtained an effectiveness considered low, around 30%. Overall, the result showed that the unit met the targets set in the strategic planning for the period 2012- 2015.
