O audiovisual como difusor da riqueza cultural do Porto de Manaus

Abstract

This dissertation aims to provide a reflection on the audiovisual dissemination of the cultural richness present in the Port of Manaus. The objectives were traced to identify relevant aspects of the history of the Port of Manaus, to analyze the peculiarities of the audiovisual and to verify the current disclosure of this port station. To do so, initially, it was necessary to bring the reader relevant data about the history of this Institution, its beliefs and values involved throughout its existence and to emphasize the importance of its dissemination. In order to know the effectiveness of the audiovisual system, we analyzed its use in promoting this port. Thus, we went through the study of its emergence, as well as exploring audiovisual memories of this Institution that guaranteed the exploitation of rubber and that, until the present moment, maintains its characteristics in supporting the development of the capital of Amazonas. We analyze how the institutional disclosure of the Port of Manaus is going. At opportune moments we present some authors who explore important aspects of the main port station in Manaus. In addition, as bibliographical research was used in this investigation, we analyzed variables, exploring the opinions of different authors who deal with the Port of Manaus, which enriched the writing of this work that praises Amazonian society and culture.
