Resumo

This paper aims to describe the process of pedagogical training of indigenous teacher in Manaus. The dissertation results of documentary research with the technique of bibliometrics and content analysis, performed from eight samples of Course Completion Works (TCCs) conducted from 2013 to 2014 by 22 indigenous to the Amazon capital in the Bachelor of Education of the Amazonas State University (UEA), which is part of the Training Program Indigenous Magisterium (PROIND). These students of Manaus are 11 ethnic groups. For this, we took into account the epistemological construction of knowledge by the indigenous look on teacher training and the relationship of the customs and traditions of these people in the school environment. Research results indicate that the PROIND provided in 52 municipalities of Amazonas State training in tertiary education to indigenous and non-indigenous. In turn, it was found that in the last modules were no changes in the Pedagogical Project of the Course (PPC) Degree in Education, which was previously known as Degree in Intercultural Education. Thus, we realize that this work could be important not only for the Academy, but above all for society in general, because it brings to light a social issue almost forgotten, the indigenous higher education, since there are few research in this theme.
