Entre o Oriente e o Amazonas: a figuração da mulher amazonense na política de gestão RBA em uma fábrica chinesa da Zona Franca de Manaus.

Abstract

From Elisian perspective, this research has a qualitative, bibliographical, field approach using structured interviews, through the phenomenological method, with the general objective of understanding how Amazonian women see themselves in the political management of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) at the Chinese company Delta da Amazônia. The specific objectives were: a) to highlight economic aspects between China and the Amazon. b) verify the RBA management model and, c) analyze the perception of Amazonian women in relation to the RBA management of a Chinese factory. Nine women participated in this research, employees of the Chinese company Delta da Amazônia Ltda, located in PIM, aged between 34 and 44 years old, 5 of them from the productive process and 4 from the administrative department, with different positions and 1 HR coordinator. This group division, through the positions held, is due to the fact that they have different responsibilities, and, consequently, different experiences. Individual, structured interviews were used as a strategy for data collection, through a script of questions. China disputes the pendulum of world economic power with other strong economies, such as, for example, the United States of America, and in this process of economic globalization the country launched itself into the world production chain with the intention of introducing itself to the markets from other countries, expand its exports and guarantee entry to resources capable of sustaining its development, which also began in the 1970s. of the Industrial Pole of Manaus. The results of this study showed that in the dynamics of productive and male figurations, despite an unbalanced power relationship, female labor, due to its peculiar characteristics, gains notoriety in the productive process, becoming indispensable for quality production, in Big scale. Through studies and professional training, the woman advances in the social differential, gaining prominence in several professions, including those that were considered masculine.
