Resumo
This dissertation is composed of a discursive analysis that outlines the results of a case study that deals with the subject of the female prison universe in the Prison Open Seminary Open University - UPFSA, in Manaus / AM. Thus, the present study has as its purpose. To investigate the discourses of the distressed women regarding their subject position as a woman arrested and the senses that can be attributed to the subject that experiences the segregation and the interdiction in prison system, being observed how these positions determine the constitution of the discursive subject of the resistance. The corpus of the research is constituted by excerpts from 10 women, of whom 05 are serving sentences in the Semiaberto regime and 05 in the Open in the Prison Women's Unit - UPFSA in Manaus / AM. The theoretical-methodological subsidies were based on the mobilization of the concepts of French materialist discourse analysis, as well as on the mobilization of Foucault's (2016) Pêcheux (2009) and Althusser (1998) studies. The methodology used was qualitative. The instruments used to collect data were the profile questionnaire and an interview guided by a semi-structured script. The understanding produced by the analysis of the data allowed to affirm that the position of the arrested woman is affiliated to the discourse of the traditional woman who undergoes a process of desubjetivation in the prison adopting a new conduct, that is acceptable and approved socially, in order to show that through means work and study, there is a change in behavior, from a woman who is an offender to the worker and, therefore, she uses transversal discourses to describe her forms of resistance. Because they are deprived of their liberty, they are displaced while subjected to prey and the place where they find shelter and shelter is in religious discourse, a way of returning to their previous place of free subjects, being the rescue possible through citizenship.
