Resumo
According to SUFRAMA (2011), the Industrial Pole of Manaus (PIM) has more than 300 industries, generating more than 100 000 jobs directly and indirectly, configured as the primary model of economic and social development of northern Brazil. Since the creation of the Manaus Free Trade Zone in 1967, one of the main objectives is to increase its competitiveness. The scarcity of information on strategic logistics operations is an aggravating factor in the slow process of planning and development of solutions that are effective to increase the competitiveness of the model. This paper presents the development of a system analysis of the origins and destinations of inputs and outputs of the PIM, by mapping and identifying sites of origin of inputs and destinations of products produced in the PIM. The project identifies the sources of data related to the origins and destinations of inputs and outputs of the PIM, also develops a DW environment able to keep such information and provides access to them through the development of a consultation with the DW system, accessible by a website. The result of this research is a system that can assist in planning studies related to transport infrastructure, and a number of other studies that require data on the flow of charges in the PIM.
