Indícios da Prática De Ginástica para Todos (GPT): relatos de profissionais atuantes em Manaus a partir de 1970

Abstract

In this work, we focus on weaving the history of Gymnastics for All (GPT) in Manaus, to show the trajectory of pioneering teachers in our region that, in addition to instilling a more integrative practice, allowed the dissemination of regional culture, making it clear that even when practicing general or large area gymnastics, GPT was present in the choreography developed in our region. The general objective is to reveal the history of gymnastics for everyone in Manaus, through the memories and historical traits of professionals who worked in the field of gymnastics in Manaus, even before its consolidation and nomenclature was established, using the Amazon culture as a backdrop. in their choreography. The methodology used was Bardin's content analysis (2016), the analysis is organized around three chronological poles: pre-analysis, material exploration and treatment of results. with a significant number ofparticipants, since in the speeches of the characters the main focus was inclusion, as the participation of all was one of the main objectives. Therefore, we can consider that the GPT was already practiced in our State, even before the consolidation. As for the elements, northern culture has been present and with a message to be passed on, as in the case of indigenous struggles, especially in the city of Manaus. Bringing our stories and legends to the parade through mystical characters told spectators and gymnastics peers, in addition, currently the GPT has been developing through researchers who carry out their research within this theme.
