Resumo

The urban expansion of the city of Tabatinga on the triple frontier Brazil-Colombia-Peru, through infrastructure projects that act as vectors of expansion as they boost the local economy and boost sectors linked to civil construction in order to establish a network of Distribution of inputs. This research had as general objective to study the network of distribution/supply of the inputs in the civil construction in Tabatinga. With three specific objectives that are: a) to describe the formation of a construction pole in the municipality of Tabatinga; B) describe the operation of the Construction Pole through urban infrastructure projects and c) describe and identify the actors/agents in the activity of extracting natural resources as a business economic activity. As methodological procedures were used interviews with entrepreneurs, construction master, public employees of municipal secretariats, institutional bodies, workers in the construction sector. The method of observation and description of the facts assisted in field notebooks was used, as well as a survey of the existing bibliography about the region and the construction theme. In view of the work accomplished, it was possible to identify that the dynamicity of the border is linked to the free movement of people and merchandise with intense flows between the three countries Brazil, Colombia and Peru. It was possible to understand that the urban expansion in the city of Tabatinga has the State as the largest intervener, since it is the agent that creates an environment conducive to urban expansion through construction projects such as housing projects, paving new urban roads over areas still Green, airport, educational institutions, others. In this way, public investments boost the construction sector in the municipality, ensuring a distribution network formed by private sector actors. This favors a business class focused on the extraction of natural resources such as sand, pebbles, and wood, which become a profitable business because the construction industry is a great consumer of raw materials based on natural resources. Thus, urban expansion through the State, promoted action in the construction sector as a measure to strengthen the presence in the triple border, is aimed at preserving the territory, but also ensuring the institutional presence and for this promotes through public resources to invest. In urban infrastructure, thereby generating a breakthrough in exploitation in natural resources.
