Resumo
The Kokama people from the Alto Solimões Region had many changes and some of these changes happened due to colonization. Other transformations happened by „the breaking of the ethical borders‟ when these Indian people started sharing their spaces with other Indian people and not Indian people too, from the contact to people who worked in religious mission that produced many differences in the Indian people‟s living ways about this Indian ethic group. This search had been developed in two communities that are: São Gabriel community and São Salvador community that belong to Santo Antonio do Içá city in the Alto Solimões Region. However to develop this work it was done parallel plans joined other communities from the Alto Solimões Region to understand the Indian Mobilizations through reaffirmation about their ethnic identify; beyond the analysis of the documents about process of demarcation in the Indian lands. Nowadays there is a description that informs how the cultural aspects about Kokama people have been improved and this way they show their social organization in these communities which aspects are represented by the politics space that they assume in the institutions. In these actions they always work to get differenced education basic right, doctor appointment and get opportunity to the students go to university. Then this search objective shows nowadays, from a historical and social analysis the Kokama people from the Santo Antonio do Içá, how this Indian people live and what have been taken the changing about their cultures. In this way it reached itself understand the problems about paper of being “Kokama Indian” and their continuous social challenge for the reaffirmation about their identify.
